Dr. David Phan was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and received his undergraduate degree in biomedical science with a minor in psychology from the University of Waterloo. He then trained in optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry and practiced in Chicago after graduating. In 2024, he moved to Vermont with his wife and found a quieter, peaceful life. Dr. Phan practices primary care optometry with a particular interest in ocular disease. In his free time, he enjoys reading, learning new things and being out in nature. He appreciates great storytelling in all its forms and a well executed home cooked meal. His weakness is sweets.
